Whether you your bunny is litter-box trained and runs the house, or you want her to be kept in a hutch, or even if you let her free-roam the yard, a bunny needs a SAFE ROOM. The starter cage is a great solution to make her happy. Note: this cage is collapsible and can be folded for transport!

There are reasons it's a good idea:

1. She is SAFE from predators or overly playful larger family animals.
2. She has her SPACE to eat, nest, and rest.
3. She is in a CONTROLLED setting AND FEELS SECURE.
4. She will learn the FEEDING schedule and respond with joy every day.

 Rabbits USA generally sells our pure-bred bunnies with a starter cage, but we also build custom hutches for multiple bunnies or when they get large after a couple of years, or if you breed your female and she needs a nesting box for her kits (babies).

The complete starter cage includes:

1. The cage itself which is 24" wide X 24" deep X 21" high.
2. A built in waste tray that slides underneath the living area.
3. A steel pellet feeder that attaches to the outside with a section inserted for the bunny.
4. A quality steel nipple water bottle that also attaches to the outside (32 oz).
5. A chew toy with wood, pine cone, bamboo, and himalayan salt block.
6. A rubberized resting mat for the bunny to sleep or rest on.
7. A 10 oz bag of premium pellet feed.
8. A grocery-sized bag with premium hay (Alfalfa, Timothy, & Orcahrd hays).

This starter set is designed to GET YOU STARTED, but we also sell larger quantities of hay and food that is less expensive and superior to pet stores and big stores. To pick up feed for your best friend just call Dr. Ed for details. He is active in Farmer's Markets throughout Central Florida. Also youi can pick up the supplies at the rabbitry in Deland.
